Does anyone know of a microcontroller that doesn't have a "sleep" mode. I'm looking for an "always on" device.

Normally you would make it "sleep" or wait to conserve battery power. But most microcontrollers don't force you to work arround sleep cycles. Some Parallax devices did however (Basic Stamp).

If you use a PIC 16f628 for example you should have no problems.
