The tiny delta parallel robot I posted about earlier has now a gripper! The video demonstrates the robot picking up an M2 nut, swinging it around, and putting it back into place.
The robot heigth is about 4 cm at maximum extension, the gripper is 9mm, and can grip up to 6mm (1/4inch) objects. It uses three miniservo's for the three arms and a fourth servo for gripper control.
Next application: The towers of Hanoi
Still working on some general parallax propeller code for Delta robots, including conversion of xyz coordinates to servo angles. After that: path control and following...
