Thought I'd share this - grandtippler just put it up. It's a pretty cool audio 'Simon Says' project and he also added video of it working. The sourcecode, kit & the video are available on Gadget Gangster

$20 is not a bad price for this kit. The sounds could be a bit more pure though, they sound a bit crackly.

Thanks! It sounds a little less crackly in person, but yeah, it's a fun little kit. The build time is short and it's satisfying. grandtippler has done some pretty cool things with the 08M, I've been surprised with how he's been able used it.

Okay - last project for now; I put together a headset amp for Xbox Live headsets (I've always had trouble hearing my buddies). It's a pretty simple project, here's a little usage scenario:

No sourcecode or anything, it's based on the LM386 type AB amplifier and runs on 3 AA batteries
