Remember the "wrap it up" box from The Chappelle Show? Well I have some friends who don't know when to stop talking. Right now I've got a pocket EL sign that I can carry to the bar, but I want something bigger and more obnoxious to have available for some especially obtuse acquaintances. I'd like to rig it up just like the one on the show, with music.
I'm using LEDs for lighting the sign, but need a way to play the music. It doesn't need to sound good, it just would be nice to have. Any suggestions? |

Cool sounding project, I am not what that box is exactly like but I am assuming that this is the chip you need.

It uses the Winbond ISD4003 chip that records and plays audio digitally but you can hack the chip into a circuit without using the example board. |
