Hey, I'm trying to follow the tutorial at
http://www.freewebs.com/electronicsmainia/picmicros.htm
for the first pic led flasher.
I have spent ages trying to work out why it's not working. My power source is coming from the pic programmer i brought and it at 5.4-5.5v so quite close to 5v.
I have tested for shorts and found nothing. I have also realized that when i place my multi-meter (volt mode) just after the resitor and before the led and on the positive power supply it returns which is weird as it really should be positive shouldn't it?
Also i'm quite sure that this is comming from the ground power supply as if i unplug pin 6 and 14 on the pic it still returns the negative result (hehe negative result)
Anyway if you have read this far you must be inclined to help, thanks alot and any help is appresiated (also it's really sad that i'm having trouble with the hello world program )
ps.if it helps i'm using the same pic as they are. |

| After you program the device the software that you used to program it should have a verify function. Run the verify to make sure the code made it correctly to the PIC. |
