| Hello, this is my first post although I visit quite often, what I want is a small ODD (Optical disk drive), you know the small cd's/dvd's that are out there?Well I want a reader (maybe writer also) that's small and only takes those in.Does anyone know if I can rip the optical drive off a camera that records on to dvd and make it work as a usb ODD?Or is there any product out there already? |

thanks allot for pointing me there...That's what I'm looking for only I'd like to make it work with a usb for use as a cd reader hooked up to a pc...I don't know if such a mo is possible, does anyone else know?How does the mini dvd in a miniDVD camcoder connect?
Let's say the DCR-DVD105 or any other...? |

Well, anything is possible, but unless your camera has a USB port, such a mod is most likely out of reach for an amateur, & the necessary technical info for your camera won't be easy to obtain.  |

I want to buy the MINI DVD. I can heard from so many peoples that the quality of the MINI DVD is to good.
