"Ademco Passive Infrared Detector/Transmitter"

Previous owners of this house had ADT install security throughout the main level of the house..

Since we don't use it, I pulled one of the motion detectors apart...

Is there a way I can salvage the Motion Detector and use it for something else?

IE: My own personal Motion Detector. Very Happy

Wasn't sure if you needed to see the back, so I deleted the picture earlier. But here it is Razz

Not sure if the pictures are good enough, let me know, I'll take more.

Is it wire-less?
Does the red LED light if it sees someone?
Can you tell me what the IC on the right says?

I know where Turd is going with that. Smile

If the LED lights when it activates have a look to see what is driving the LED. Are you wanting a relay output or just a voltage change? You may need to use a transistor if you are wanting to drive a relay.
