I am working on a project (I don't want to disclose too much right now, because I am highly likely to post it as a HG exclusive) and I have a few question about how analog signal systems.

I've managed to produce the correct wave output I want, but I need to precisely control the amount of DC offset on the wave, One of the downsides of the particular circuity I used is that I have about +3VDC in my waveform. I know how to use an op-amp to add DC offset to a wave, but I am unsure of how to remove DC from a wave. can this be achieved with an op amp also?

thanks in advance for any input you guys have.

You should be able to use a filter capacitor in series (blocks DC, AC still passes) to achieve this. An op amp might be a little over kill for this.

I'm not sure how much to use, my math is a little rusty in that area, but you might want to start at 20 pF or so.

duh... I should have thought of that... I'm using quad op amp chips in the circuit, and had a few extra op amps i thought i might use. I'll try that idea tho, thanks.
