Here's some pics of a black / white controller case mod my buddy did.
Special plastic bonding paint was used to paint the case, bottom piece, and d-pad. |

Hey bro
I've always wanted to do this, but after time I kind of got out of console modding
Since 360 controllers run off normal usb cords
Could you pickup a lighted usb cord like this one...
http://www.thinkgeek.com/computing/pcmods/7265/
and solder it on
Paint the controller with some red duplicolor metal speck paint
eh?
I think it would look awesome _________________ Johnny was a chemist's son,

I would love to see some pictures if you can get this to work. I think it would look awsome. Follow up in this post if you ever do this mod. Great idea. |

I was really suggesting that to you as an idea to play around with, I'm not in the whole console modding scene anymore _________________ Johnny was a chemist's son,

Sweet looking controller mod and that wire would make a nice addition to lots of mods. I guess there must be a converter built in for the EL wire. Or do you think it us just a few LEDs and some fiber optics?
For the price it might even be worth it to buy it, chop off the ends and just power it with 5 Volts... |
