Hi every one!
My name is Andrew and I'm from Italy.
I' m an electrician (I worked in the elevators area), but I have a great passion for electronics circuits.
Due to my experience with relay logic (used in old elevators) I can program PLC by using basic ladder instructions, but PIC microcontrollers are totally new to me, even though I heared about LD MICRO, a compiler based on ladder logic.

If you have done a lot of logic work you might want to try looking in to the assembly language. It is very logic based and is sequential. You can get a free complier and program for writing assembly from Microchip.com called MPlab.
