I have an old Microsoft joystick that seems to cry out for a hack. Any ideas?

One of the cool analog ones? Or is it just switches?
I have always thought that a cool use of an analog joystick would be to use it in a circuit bending application.
Lots of people make robot arms and stuff also. |
