12v system.
2 circuits--1 incandescent (INC), 1 LED. Both run on 12v.
1 single pole, single throw switch.
I'm lighting a room in a haunted doll house. My requirements are that
either the INC circuit is on, or the LED circuit (a ghostly UV look) is
on--not both on at the same time.
Can the wiring be done (without any relays and such) so that when the
switch is on (closed), the INC circuit is lighted, and when the switch is off
(open) the LED circuit lights?
I'm sort of picturing both INC and LED wired in parallel, but with a
resistor somewhere to get the effect I want--sort of like a bad ground in a
car's tail lights (where the reverse lamp is always on, but when they step
on the brakes the reverse lamp goes off and the brake lamps go on).
Know what I'm sayin'?
