Greetings, folks! Smile I found this site using a Google search. Love that Google! Mostly I'm interested in seeing what other folks are doing in electronics with processers, hardware and software. I mostly use PICs, but am starting to lean towards AVRs.

I moderate at a forum for basic Micro, a company that sells various PIC processors with a bootloader and a free BASIC. One of the users just posted a project demonstrating Persistance of Vision, that is, LEDs are multiplexed at a rate that makes them appear to form a message. What's neat is, these LEDs are mounted on a whirling clock-like bar! This is at:

Basic Micro has a couple of videos of LED-related prototypes. This is their Video Gallery page:

Look for the KnightRider/Cylon proto and their 32x32 RGB LED display.
I don't work for these guys. I'm a satisfied user and I figured these may interest you.
Happy Holidays!

Welcome Kenjj,

Thanks for the links, that rotating display look like it was fun to build.
