My 17 month old daughter loves to ride (be pushed) on various types of toys. She wants more riding time than my bent over back can tolerate to push her around. So I decided to get her a barbie jeep and make it remote control. I have a 12 volt linear actuator (with feed back pot) for the steering. It is powered by a Vantec servo amplifier. It also has has fully proportional speed control via Vantec speed controller. All this driven by 9 channel futaba radio (I bought this unit for its flexibility and future project that may require more axis).

I don't know how to get the pictres listed here though. Can someone help?

thx

Hi Mustang,

Sounds like a fantastic project!

Check out this post (3rd item in it) to get the steps to upload pictures:
http://forum.hackedgadgets.com/viewtopic.php?t=134

The image gallery has a separate user database so you will have to sign up for an account there also (no problem using the same name and password) Once the images are in the gallery they can be referenced in the forum. If something doesn't make sense let me know

Can't wait to see what it looks like Very Happy

Hmm, wasn't the effect I was hoping for, but it works. Why do the pictures not show directly. I know it is because I poseted link the album, but is there a way to link directly to the picture?

Looks great!

To put pictures in a forum post all you have to do is right click the picture in the gallery and look at the properties, then copy the image location into your post. Then highlight the image location in the post and click the "Img" button. That should do it...

For example, here are the images you uploaded:

That's crazy. I like it. My wife would have a cow, though.
