So you can't find the right potentiometer? (Simple DIY pot!)

Take a rotary switch, some resistors and assemble them like I have shown in my messy MSpaint circuit diagram:




This will give you a variable resistor! Stepped to the increments of the valvues of your resistors of course, but if you can't find a 10ohm pot and have ten 1 ohm resistors and a rotary switch, this might just do the trick
