Howdy folks!

Long time no post, but I've been working with my friend Jeremy on a pretty big project, the ArduiNIX. It is the first project to be released under our robotpirate flag.

The ArduiNIX is an Arduino compatible shield which plugs right onto the top of the Arduino board. ArduiNIX takes care of stepping power from a 9vDC wallwart up to a maximum of 200vDC to drive any and all Nixie tubes. ArduiNIX also provides Multiplexed display for up to 80 elements by using 4 anode channels and 20 cathode channels. Multiplexing increases the life expectancy of your nixie tube investment.

Not only does the ArduiNIX provide a nixie tube platform for standard clock functions, but it is also open source, meaning if you can program it using the arduino environment, you can make it happen on your nixie display.

Here's the first completed unit powering an IN-17 russian nixie tube.

Here's an early version wired up on protoboard to see if we could actually do it.

The website will show you more about it if you're interested, http://www.arduinix.com/Main/Welcome.htm

And we have a forum set up here for posting people's projects, questions, etc:

This project is still in progress, we've got code examples on the website, and we're working on add-on boards with precut nixie sockets onboard. It's taken us quite a while to get it to this point, and it's about time to start showing folks.

We're selling the kit on the website, limited quantities as a first run, but will ramp up as need dictates.

Thanks for your time!
