"A lot of people ask me how the "remote fire extinguisher facility" works. I'm sorry I didn't make it clear on the above article. The fire extinguisher facility is connected to a optocoupler switch( I replaced the front light with an optocoupler switch). Since the current of the front light is only 8.9mA,I made a circuit which uses rovio's own battery to amplify the current. By doing so ,rovio can make the decision of turning on or turning off the switch itself." |
