This one only took a week to make. It was a rush job for a CBRichardEllis charity auction. It is of figured maple, vintage radio knobs and a modified harddrive case back.

9Volt battery powered, turns on when you plug it in, turns off the main speaker when you plug in the headphones.

Structurally, I think it's superior to my original amp. But that's just me. It sure fits together a lot better and the layout's a lot easier to follow with this version.

The build log is available here http://www.nonentity.com/2007/Main/Content/Projects/AmpBMarrs.htm

Nice! I need some knobs just like that for an offset attenuator I am building. Where might you have gotten them?

I appreciate it, man, I hope to get a few of these built up to sell at a fair or my site sometime soon.

Thanks! I got them off an oscilloscope I found in a ditch by my ranch, there's like 10 or so of those knobs on it. However, you can find perfect matches to them at Antique Electronics Supply - http://www.tubesandmore.com/scripts/foxweb.dll/catalog@d:/dfs/elevclients/cemirror/ELEVATOR.FXP?PAGE=SUBCAT&SEARCH_TREE01=09_KNOBS&SEARCH_TREE02=02_BASICKNOBS
