Just letting everyone know. I got one of his LED kits and it is loaded with some nice LEDs. If your looking to start up a collection of LED parts or doing a project that needs a few. I highly recomend it.

I plan on replacing the medium bright white LEDs in a hand crank flash lite I got for Christmas. I'm betting the Super bright whites in the kit will improve the light significantly. Even if they end up eating the charge.

I bet this flashlight has simple current limiting resistors. Maybe I can change them out with a more efficent current mode switching supply. That should significantly increase the charge time.
